We use several fillers that are FDA-approved for cosmetic injections. Restylane®, JUVÉDERM®, Perlane®, and RADIESSE® are some of Seattle's most popular injectable fillers, and provide our patients with excellent results at our practice. These fillers restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, lines around the mouth, and lipstick "bleed" lines. They can also be used to sculpt the cheeks, plump up the lips, improve facial volume balance, and provide overall facial lift and rejuvenation.
Dr. Stella Desyatnikova is skilled and experienced at performing soft tissue filler injections, and has a great artistic eye for giving you the best results. She has advanced training in facial plastic surgery and is board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She is also on the teaching faculty for Allergan, Medicis and Palette aesthetic courses and has been training other doctors and nurses how to administer fillers for years, serving as an authority on the best and most effective ways to improve facial appearance.

Meet Dr. Stella, a board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and Otolaryngologist who is committed to enhancing natural beauty and creating an appealing, harmonious look.
What are injectable fillers made of?
Restylane, Perlane, and JUVÉDERM are made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body providing volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane and JUVÉDERM is biodegradable and fully biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.
RADIESSE is different than hyaluronic acid fillers: it is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. This filler helps to increase the production of a patient's own collagen over time.
Are injectable fillers safe?
Yes. Restylane, Perlane, RADIESSE, and JUVÉDERM have been used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons worldwide for years. Because there is minimal risk of allergic reaction, allergy testing is not required for these fillers.
Do the injections hurt?
Injections for these fillers are usually performed in the office. To minimize discomfort during the procedure, Dr. Stella uses a topical and local anesthetic before the treatment. Patients may experience slight redness or puffiness at the site of the injection for the next day or two. Results are usually evident right away, and the improvement can be quite dramatic.
How often should I have injectable filler treatments?
Treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Having a touch-up treatment before the product has fully dissipated may enhance the lasting effect.
While Seattle facial rejuvenation patients can benefit greatly from injectable fillers, the following procedures can be combined with fillers to achieve optimal rejuvenation, including:
