Beautiful People Helping Animals!
 We had an exciting day on Saturday, September 19th, at The Stella Center. Dr. Stella and her team volunteered their time, and our gracious vendors Heather Jackson and Lisa Debiec donated their products so that we could raise money for a noble and much needed organization, Pasado's Safe Haven.
"Pasado's Safe Haven is one of the premiere animal rescue organizations in the United States, dedicated to 24-hour rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, cats and farm animals. Located on 85 pastoral and wooded acres one hour northeast of Seattle, Washington, the sanctuary is home to hundreds of dogs, cats, cows, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys, pigs, and donkeys. Most arrived from abuse or neglect and now live out their lives in peace."
Glenn Gustafik, owner of The Gilt Edge Society salon was also on-hand donating his time for consultations, bang trims, and blowouts for $20, and donated every penny of it to Pasado's! Volunteers from Pasado's Safe Haven were kind enough to bring in two adorable foster care dogs that will soon be looking for permanent homes. They spent the day answering questions for our clients and introducing anyone who was interested to the cute little charmers they brought with them.
 
The staff of The Stella Center turned our waiting room into a reception area filled with refreshments, pastries and a generous hors d' oeuvres setup donated by Lisa Debiec. As our guests enjoyed refreshments, Teddy, the cutest Brussels Griffon, and his doggy pal Jack Russell Harriett, entertained us with their cute strut and flirtatious style. All in all, The Stella Center raised over $6,000 for Pasado's Safe Haven!
The Stella Center would like to sincerely thank our clients who chose to support us on this special day and also thank Glenn Gustafik of Guilt Edge Society Salon who donated his talent and time. Most of all, we would like to express our sincerest appreciation for Pasado's Safe Haven for their noble and courageous efforts in preventing animal cruelty and all their work for the animals.
