Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

The overall balance and harmony of a face often depends on the size and shape of the nose. Many of Dr. Stella Desyatnikova's patients say they have minor concerns about the look of their noses and wonder whether there's a simple treatment that can help. For those interested in altering the nose without rhinoplasty surgery, Dr. Stella uses injectable fillers to perform a "non-surgical" rhinoplasty or nose job in Seattle.

Why choose Dr. Stella for a non-surgical nose job?

Dr. Stella's advanced training in facial plastic surgery includes being board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery. Her experience with injectable treatments is extensive. Her knowledge of fillers, and her skill in using them, resulted in Dr. Stella serving on the teaching faculty for Allergan, Medicis, and Palette aesthetic courses, and she has been training other doctors and nurses how to administer fillers for years.
How much does non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose job) cost?
In Seattle, the price for non-surgical rhinoplasty can start at $500 to $600, with most procedures averaging about $800 to $1,500 total. Your actual cost varies based on the amount of product—and the types of products—Dr. Stella uses to address your concerns.
Am I a candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty?
Patients with a number of different cosmetic concerns make good candidates for a non-surgical nose job, and the procedure is especially popular among Asian patients, who often want a more defined nasal bridge or a more pronounced tip. Here are some of the many things a non-surgical nose job can do:
- Augment the bridge (dorsum)
- Create symmetry and fill in concave areas of the nose
- Enhance the tip by improving definition or smoothing an upturned nose
- Smooth, or mask, a nasal hump
It's also a good procedure if you're interested in surgical rhinoplasty but want to get a sense of the possible improvements before making a decision. If you want to reduce the size of your nose or are considering nose surgery because nasal obstruction is making it difficult to breathe, you should choose surgical rhinoplasty.

What are the benefits of using fillers for rhinoplasty?
Dr. Stella prefers using hyaluronic acid dermal fillers such as Restylane® and JUVÉDERM® for her patients. These fillers provide predictable, long-lasting results and are commonly used in other areas of the face, as well. The benefits of using fillers to improve the appearance of your nose are many:
- In the hands of an experienced provider such as Dr. Stella, fillers can be injected with precision, resulting in specific, detailed improvements that might not be possible with surgery.
- There is no downtime following a nonsurgical rhinoplasty. Nose surgery usually produces swelling that takes weeks to diminish, and the full results of a surgical nose job may not be apparent for up to a year due to residual swelling. The results of a nonsurgical procedure are seen within days.
- General anesthesia isn't used, so you are awake during the procedure.
How long do non-surgical nose jobs last?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty results usually last between 6 and 12 months, although results can occasionally last longer. Many people see this as an advantage because it allows them to "test drive" their results before committing to a full rhinoplasty. Once you notice your results beginning to fade, you may return for a touch-up procedure or talk to Dr. Stella about pursuing a surgical rhinoplasty.
