This woman was happy with her overall appearance, but concerned with the aging changes of her neck. She came to our facial plastic surgery practice in Seattle for a consultation in preparation for her wedding later in the year. She had already purchased a dress for the event, but was uncomfortable with the way her neck appeared in photos.
Upon examination, her face showed moderate jowling of the jawline and laxity of the lower face and neck. I found that she was a good candidate for minifacelift in Seattle, and discussed the procedure with her in detail. She was concerned about healing time leading up to her wedding and I assured her that 6 months should be more than enough time for her to be feeling her best in time for her special day.
She returned for her follow-up appointment and was happy with her results. She also had cosmetic injections to prepare her for her wedding. I was very pleased with her results.
