This woman had a long history of sun exposure. Recent weight loss also contributed to her aging appearance. She came to our facial plastic surgery practice in Seattle for a consultation to discuss rejuvenation options. She was primarily concerned with the sagging of her lower face and jowl area. Her drooping upper eyelids and puffiness of her lower eyelids also troubled her.
Upon examination, her face showed moderate laxity throughout her lower face and neck. Her heavy upper eyelids and lower eyelid bags were contributing to her aging appearance. I found that she was a good candidate for minifacelift in Seattle, as well as upper and lower blepharoplasty. I addressed her concerns and renewed her facial balance by performing minifacelift and upper and lower blepharoplasty in office under local anesthesia.
The patient returned for her follow-up appointment and was extremely happy with her results. I was also very pleased with her rejuvenated look.
