This young woman came to our facial plastic surgery in Seattle practice with concerns of her nasal shape. She never had any trauma to her nose, and she did not have any problems with breathing through her nose, but she was not happy with the shape. She wanted a much smaller nose to match her face.
Upon examination, we noted that her nose was simply too wide and too big, and it overpowered her delicate facial features. The dorsum was wide, raised, with a hump, and the tip was boxy and poorly defined.
We performed open rhinoplasty procedure to correct all of these issues. We made her dorsum and bridge much smaller and refined her nasal tip.
She is extremely happy with her new nose. I am quite happy with the results of her rhinoplasty as well.
